1. Assesment & Consultation
Assessment and consultation is the most essential step to kickstart your study permit application. This is done through evaluating qualifications, providing guidance on application requirements, and creating a strategy for the student’s Statement of Purpose.
2. School Application Submission
When applying for a student visa, you are required to apply and be accepted in an educational institution as an international student. Submitting a school application involves providing information about your academic background and personal information. The Letter of Acceptance provided by your chosen school is a requirement to include in your student visa application.
3. Documentation Procedure
Documentation for student visa application involves submitting required documents such as passport, letter of acceptance, proof of financial support, academic transcripts, language test scores, and health/character certificates to show capability to study and sustain your living conditions during your stay in Canada.
4. Study Plan Review & Revision
Study Plan or Statement of Purpose review and revision is a process to ensure that your proposed course of study is aligned with your academic background, career goals, and finances. It helps to prevent visa fraud and ensure a legitimate study abroad experience. Take note that there is no interview for your visa application. The visa officer will solely rely on your submitted documents for proof and study plan.
5. Dependents Visa Processing
Dependent visa processing is the process of obtaining a visa/permit for family members (spouses, partners, and children) who wish to accompany the student to the country where they will be studying. It involves submitting a separate visa application with supporting documents and may require additional fees and time. The purpose is to allow family members to provide support while the principal applicant is studying.
6. Visa Application Lodging
To apply for a student visa, you must submit your visa application with the required documents to the visa authority. They will review and issue you a visa/permit if approved, to allow you to legally enter and study in the country.
